I was born in Colombia South America, and have lived in the United States since 1980. My career has been in health care health as a Laboratory Technologist working in the field of infertility,. over the years I have pursued my Fine Arts degree that is now near completion. In the past 5 years I have presented several shows with music as the central theme, as I continue  working on  art projects that  mix and balance strong influences from my own environment and the nostalgic feelings for my country that offers me great inspiration every time I visit.

Soy colombiana y he vivido en Estados Unidos desde 1980 primero en California y en los ultimos 17 años en Troy Michigan. Estudie Bacteriologia y continuo trabajando medio tiempo en un laboratorio de andrologia. He continuado mis estudios en Bellas artes que  estan pronto a completarse. En los ultimos 5 años he ofrecido varias exposiciones basadas en temas musicasles; pero continuo enfocado mi energia  en proyectos que reflejan mis propias experiencias basadas en el ambiente que me rodea y en  los sentimientos de nostalgia cuando se vive  lejos de la tierra natal.  Colombia siempre sera una gran fuente de inspiracion en varios sentidos, no solo las bellezas naturales y la poesia que se vive al volver a visitar los pueblos  con sus fincas de caminos simples y llenos de historias, pero tambien al leer y enterarme de las calamidades que ha ocasionado una guerra de mas de 40 años. las injusticias que ha sufrido la juventud y las tragedias en las familias involucradas. NInguna de las pinturas relacionadas con este tema en particular estan en mi website por ahora.
